Here we are almost into November! So much to be grateful for these days as we approach Thanksgiving. Carys still takes long naps, sometimes more than three hours in the afternoon. This is an amazing blessing. She is also quite the mischievous ringleader these days. Pretty much, if it’s too quiet, there is bound to be shampoo or scissors or chapstick involved.

The twins are playing together a lot, which is so nice, although Daniel throws his weight around a bit and generally grabs whatever Talia is playing with. Talia is getting quick though and knows she can out-crawl him (or knee-walk in her case) if she hurries, so she scurries away fairly successfully. We are going to have to work on sharing, but boy, they are really fun to watch as they interact.

Eliya enjoys learning new things, and she spends a lot of her time making up stories and acting them out with her animals. She loves to sing as well and makes up songs on the spot. She struggles with perfectionism, and a song we sing often upon the onset of despair goes like this (to the tune of “He’s a Jolly Good Fellow”): We don’t have to be perfect, we don’t have to be perfect. we don’t have to be perfect, we just have to have some fun!” (“Perfect” in the sense of “It’s ok if we color outside the lines,” etc.)

Here is another compilation of pictures and videos for those who want to  see how the kiddos are growing and changing.

We so loved this this morning Kim! Thanks for posting. Wow. Every scene just burst. Had to laugh when Eliya said she didn’t like papaya…or something she said around that scene. Oh, they are all so cute. And so active! Just beautiful.

Love these pics and videos, Kim! The chameleon episode is priceless. What a most creative pet from the Lord!
    Love,
    Mom
